When Eastvale residents Eric and Denise Rager traveled to Houston in 2007 so their 6-year-old son Matthew could be treated for brain cancer at the world-renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center, the one thing they didn't have to worry about was a place to stay.
The Jimmy Burns Foundation, an Illinois-based nonprofit, offered the family a condo to use during Matthew's rigorous four-month course of proton radiation and chemotherapy.
